According to multiple reports, Dillon Logistics, an Illinois-based trucking company that employed hundreds of truck drivers has ceased operations at midnight on August 31.
This carrier from Burridge, Illinois seems to have shut down for good, multiple trucker and media reports say.
Dillion Logistics states that the company operated 450 tractors and 700 trailers. According to FMCSA’s SAFER website, the company operated 323 power units and employed 342 drivers.
The carrier had terminals in Atlanta; Dallas; Heidelberg, Mississippi; McCook, Illinois; Medina, Ohio; Michigan City, Indiana; Mulberry, Florida; Savannah, and Tampa.
The company’s Facebook page is no longer active.
Dillon Logistics had operated since 1980, when it was founded by Jeff Dillon. They specialized in asphalt, chemical, and dry bulk transportation.
